    The Anthurium Purple is a striking tropical plant, well-loved for its vibrant, long-lasting flowers and glossy, dark green foliage. This Purple variety of Anthurium is particularly notable for its rich, deep purple spathes, which contrast beautifully with its dark green, heart-shaped leaves. Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this plant thrives in humid, tropical environments and is often found growing as an epiphyte in the understory, where it enjoys filtered light and moderate moisture.

    Indoors, this plant can grow to about 18-24 inches in height, making it a perfect size for a tabletop, countertop, or decorative floor plant. Its striking purple flowers, which are technically spathes (modified leaves) surrounding a central spike (spadix), can last for weeks, and new blooms continue to appear throughout the year, especially in warmer, brighter conditions. The plant thrives best in bright, indirect light, though it can tolerate lower light levels, but blooming may be reduced in such conditions.

    Anthuriums prefer a slightly acidic, well-draining potting mix, such as a blend designed for orchids or tropical plants. They like consistently moist soil, but it's important to allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to avoid root rot. Humidity is key to keeping them happy, so regular misting or placement in a humid area, like a bathroom or kitchen, can promote better growth. In winter, reduce watering to allow the plant to rest.

Shipping live plants back and forth can cause unnecessary stress and jeopardize the health of the plant. We encourage customers to choose carefully before placing an order.       Can I order and receive plants during the winter?

      Yes, we ship plants year-round! Our shipments are carefully packaged to ensure we deliver healthy plants to your door every day of the year. We monitor the weather across the country and will include heat packs at no extra charge to keep your plants warm during shipping. If weather conditions are extreme (e.g., storm or severe winter), we will inform you of an updated delivery date that we believe is more appropriate.

      How can I change my order details?

      To update your order details, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. We care about all our customers and will like to ship the correct item to the right location. We are not held responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. In addition, we cannot cancel orders that has already been shipped.

      If I order more than one plant, will they ship separately?

      Items apart of the same order typically ship together. In rare circumstances, the items may ship from both our Southern California and Florida greenhouses and could arrive in separate packages at different times. For these instances, once each item is shipped, you'll receive individual tracking information for each package, so you can easily track their progress.

      Where do you ship?

      We currently ship to the contiguous United States which consists of the 48 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

      Do you offer same-day or next-day delivery?

      Unfortunately, we do not offer same-day or next-day delivery. Plants require careful preparation and packaging to ensure they arrive healthy and in optimal condition, we take the necessary time to pack them properly. This ensures that your plants are shipped safely and arrive ready to thrive.
