Alocasia 'Serendipity', commonly known as Serendipity Elephant Ear, is a stunning tropical plant known for its striking foliage. Native to Southeast Asia, this cultivar is a smaller, more compact variety of Alocasia, making it ideal for indoor spaces or smaller gardens. The plant boasts large, arrowhead-shaped leaves with deep green tones and contrasting white veins, creating a bold, architectural appearance.
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers consistently moist, well-draining soil. It requires a warm environment should not be exposed to drafts or sudden temperature changes. Alocasia 'Serendipity' benefits from regular misting to maintain humidity levels, as it is sensitive to dry air.
While Alocasia is relatively easy to care for, it can be prone to common houseplant pests such as spider mites and aphids. This plant may also develop yellowing leaves or leaf drop if overwatered or exposed to too much direct sunlight
