    The Alocasia Micholitziana Frydek Variegated is a rare and visually captivating plant known for its velvety, deep green leaves adorned with creamy white and minty variegation. Much like its non-variegated counterpart, this variety showcases prominent white veins that stand out against the rich, velvet-textured foliage. The added marbled variegation makes each leaf uniquely patterned, adding an extra level of sophistication and intrigue. With its compact size and dramatic appearance, the Frydek Variegated is perfect for collectors and a standout addition to any indoor jungle.

    This plant thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain its bold variegation. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight, as its delicate leaves are prone to scorching. Ideal temperature ranges are between 65-80°F (18-27°C), and high humidity is essential to keep the leaves lush and healthy. It does especially well in spaces with consistent moisture, such as bathrooms, or when placed near a humidifier. Low humidity can cause browning leaf tips and leaf curl, so regular misting or a humidity tray may be necessary.

    The Alocasia Frydek Variegated prefers well-aerated, moisture-retentive soil that drains efficiently. Water when the top inch of soil becomes dry, allowing excess water to drain freely. Be careful not to overwater, as this plant is susceptible to root rot if left sitting in soggy soil. Like many Alocasias, it can be sensitive to changes in environment or watering inconsistencies, and may occasionally go dormant or drop leaves if stressed.       1. Consistent Care: This Alocasia thrives when given consistent care for long period of time. The large, velvety leaves are prone to dust buildup, so gently wipe them with a damp cloth.
      2. Ideal Placement: An east or north-facing window is often perfect, providing gentle morning sun or consistent indirect light throughout the day.
      3. Reduce watering during dormant months: This Alocasia tends to go dormant in the winter months. During this time, reduce watering and allow the plant to rest.
      4. Repot every 1-2 years: This Alocasia prefers to be slightly root-bound, so repotting every 1-2 years is usually enough.
      5. Can be sensitive to tap water: This Alocasia can be sensitive to chemicals in tap water like chlorine and fluoride. Consider using filtered water, distilled water, or rainwater.

Shipping live plants back and forth can cause unnecessary stress and jeopardize the health of the plant. We encourage customers to choose carefully before placing an order.       Can I order and receive plants during the winter?

      Yes, we ship plants year-round! Our shipments are carefully packaged to ensure we deliver healthy plants to your door every day of the year. We monitor the weather across the country and will include heat packs at no extra charge to keep your plants warm during shipping. If weather conditions are extreme (e.g., storm or severe winter), we will inform you of an updated delivery date that we believe is more appropriate.

      How can I change my order details?

      To update your order details, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. We care about all our customers and will like to ship the correct item to the right location. We are not held responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses. In addition, we cannot cancel orders that has already been shipped.

      If I order more than one plant, will they ship separately?

      Items apart of the same order typically ship together. In rare circumstances, the items may ship from both our Southern California and Florida greenhouses and could arrive in separate packages at different times. For these instances, once each item is shipped, you'll receive individual tracking information for each package, so you can easily track their progress.

      Where do you ship?

      We currently ship to the contiguous United States which consists of the 48 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

      Do you offer same-day or next-day delivery?

      Unfortunately, we do not offer same-day or next-day delivery. Plants require careful preparation and packaging to ensure they arrive healthy and in optimal condition, we take the necessary time to pack them properly. This ensures that your plants are shipped safely and arrive ready to thrive.
